Mt. Ashwabay Summit Ski Race I skied the race course again tonight. I found a dirty spot on the Telford loop that will need a bit of shoveling. Anchor, Seagull, and Roller Coaster had real good cover. Jolly Long (only used for the skate course) has a couple of thin spots, mostly meaning that there will be a few spots that won't have full depth tracks. Still looking like good to very good conditions. Come win your pie!
Skiing the course today, there was one dirty spot that will be easy to shovel snow over. Otherwise on the classic course the tracks are still looking good, and the skate deck looks good throughout the skate course.
Note on the classic course, we will be running it on the skate trails: Telford, Anchor, Seagull, Swiss Miss, Rollercoaster. This ends up being about 7.8 k.
We got another 3 inches of new snow on Friday, so the skate trails are in very good condition. It is looking like the classic portion of races will still be on the skate trails, but tracks should be full depth in most areas. Come win your own pie!
